Description:
Depicting the soulful singer, Ms. Lauryn Hill. The contrasting orange against the blue gives her an etherial glow. Her glowing complexion is accentuated by the gold leaf halo behind her, more so when reflected by the right lighting. The organic nature of the painting is conveyed by the swirls, not just in the background, but also when looking closely at the hair and skin texture.
